Thank you to all of our participating Bars, volunteers and patrons who contributed on Thursday, August 28 for the 5th Anniversary of Bar AIDS!

AIDSCare partnered with nineteen bars across nine Chicago neighborhoods to raise awareness for Chicago's HIV/AIDS community with compassion and care. The event raised over $5,500 in raffle ticket sales alone. Participating Bar contributions are still coming in and the final count will be updated soon. All Bar AIDS proceeds benefit AIDSCare programs and services.

Congratulations! to Jenny Boyle, winner of the 2008 Bar AIDS Raffle! The 2008 raffle prize was two round-trip tickets to anywhere Delta Air Lines flies, generously sponsored by Orbitz. The raffle ticket was purchased at Zocalo Restaurant and Tequila Bar in Chicago's River North neighborhood.

Congratulations! to our Top Ambassador Volunteers, Dan Howard and Anne Merritt! Dan and Anne sold 359 tickets at Fat Cat in Uptown, bringing in $1,350 for the event - thank you both for a successful evening!
