AIDSCare Progressive Services, now a member of EdgeAlliance, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide high quality life progress services and care to the individuals and families living on the North Lawndale Campus on Chicago’s West side.
Our Life Progress Program promotes self-determination and personal development through individual life skills training and group workshops. This program strengthens minds by sharing knowledge that encourages, inspires, and empowers clients to create a more productive and satisfying life for themselves.
Our Healthy Living Program educates our members’ clients to maximize their primary healthcare services, ultimately bridging the gap in communication between residents, pharmacies and primary care givers.
AIDSCare’s volunteers support the agency in fulfilling its mission by providing much needed support for our programs and events. We are currently seeking Street Team and Ambassador Volunteers for the 6th Annual Bar AIDS benefit. Please visit the Volunteer page for more information.
On Saturday, June 28th, AIDSCare volunteers and staff made an appearance in the 2009 Pride Parade with Google Chicago.
Marching with the Google Team, the AIDSCare logo and mission proudly stood with more than 250 Chicagoland community organizations, businesses and friends.
Many thanks again to Google for their support and contributions throughout 2009!
Our Programs are designed to serve the HIV/AIDS community with compassion and care. Please visit our Program page for more information or to apply for housing.
